Wild Desktop

Wild Desktop brings a little bit of nature to your Mac. Pixel-art birds fly across your screen and perch on your windows, the weather follows the real sky outside, and animals come and go through the seasons.

• Birds land on your windows, preen, sing and scatter when your cursor gets close
• Real weather: rain runs down the glass, snow piles on your windows, fog, storms and rainbows
• Over 70 animals, from foxes and hedgehogs in the grass to kestrels, owls and swifts in the sky, with hundreds of interactions between them
• Real skies: the sun and moon, named stars and constellations, meteor showers and eclipses on their real dates
• A journal to fill in as you discover everything, with badges to earn
• Lives in your menu bar and stays out of your way

What's next Wild Desktop is just getting started. If people enjoy it, I'm planning:

• A Windows edition, so PC users can have birds on their screens too
• Expansion packs with new animals, places and seasonal events
